The Pearson Test of English Academic is an English language test designed to assess the readiness of non-native English speakers to participate in a university-level English language instruction program. Pearson created PTE Academic in response to demand from institutions, government and other organizations for a more accurate way of testing non – native English language students who enter the English-speaking academia world.
It will help the student to prepare himself or herself to cope up with the scenario of the universities. It is a complete computer-based examination. PTE Academic is endorsed by the Graduate Management Admission Council. Universities like London Business School (UK), Harvard Business School, Stanford Graduate School of Business, and Yale University in the United States accepts the PTE score for the admission in their university. Some of the other countries that accept PTE Academic are Spain, France and China. Apart from that, some other schools in France like INSEAD and HEC Paris and IESE, IE Business School and ESADE in Spain accepts PTE Academic.
